Quick bar, colors, tags, and focus mode
Pin notes to the quick bar, color them, tag them, jump around with the command palette, and write without distractions.
Quick bar
The quick bar is the row of tabs along the side. It holds the notes you come back to.
- To pin a note, open its menu and choose + QUICK BAR.
- Tap a tab to jump to that note.
- Long-press a tab to rearrange or remove it.
Your quick bar syncs to your other devices.
Colors
Open a note, tap ACTIONS, and pick a NOTE COLOR: cyan, green, orange, pink, purple, red, yellow, or blue. Use the COLOR filter to see only notes of one color.
Tags
Type #anything in a note to tag it. Browse your tags in the TAGS view, sorted by name, count, or date.
Command palette
Tap RIFT in the middle of the header, or press ⌘K on Mac, to search every command: new note, open map, show nearby notes, share, and more.
Focus mode
In a note, tap the sun icon to hide everything but your writing. Tap it again to come back.
