Saving a location

With Settings → Capture → Auto-attach Location turned on, each new note remembers where you were.

From a note, you can Open in Maps, Update to Here, or Remove Location.

The +LOC button works differently: it types an Apple Maps link to your current spot into the note text.

The map

Tap MAP in the tab row under the header to see your notes on a map. The tab shows how many notes are nearby.

The map follows your search, so searching for a word shows only the matching notes. To find notes close to you, use the WITHIN filter (25 m to 5 km) or the Show nearby notes command.

Location and the map are part of the Powerpack.
